Jessica has 15+ years of experience in product development, product / user research and UX design. She solves business problems through collaboration, creative thinking, diversity and inclusion.

As a senior manager, Jessica is experienced in strategy, training, mentoring and people development. She trained in market research at one of the UK’s largest research agencies, analysing data on customer behaviour and helping businesses launch products. This sparked an interest in human psychology and how technology can help people.

Working at b2b publisher and software provider RBI, Jessica discovered UX and became the usability specialist. She completed an MSc in User Interaction Design with Management Studies, whilst working full-time on research and design projects. Seeing an opportunity to drive the digital transformation of the business, Jessica built a team of designers to establish a UX function. She founded a graduate scheme, overseeing the hiring and development of new designers.

During her tenure at RBI, Jessica was the Lead UX Manager for a product portfolio with revenues of c. $1 billion. She won a Customer Focus award for her work on product development within the aviation sector. She curated annual internal conferences attended by 100 staff to raise awareness of UX methods and built a community of product design enthusiasts.

In 2018, Jessica founded Creative Product Consulting, offering consultancy on diverse projects from cryptocurrency to government. She then taught at Flatiron School bootcamp as a Lead Instructor in UX/UI design.

Jessica moved back to team leadership in 2020, heading up the Product Research function at Workhuman. She grew and developed the team, diversified the methods used and delivered quality insight to guide product decision-making. Whilst in this senior role, Jessica completed an Executive MBA qualification at Quantic School of Business & Technology.
