My career path has been varied and fascinating!

I trained at one of the UK’s largest research agencies, analysing data on customer behaviour and helping businesses to launch products. This sparked an interest in human psychology - I saw how critical understanding people is to business strategy.

Working at b2b information and software provider RBI, I became the UX/usability specialist. I studied for an MSc in User Interaction Design with Management Studies, whilst working full-time on research and design projects. Seeing an opportunity to drive the digital transformation of the business, I built a team of designers to establish a UX function. This involved advocating for the graduate scheme, overseeing the hiring and development of new junior designers.

During my tenure at RBI, I was the Lead UX Manager for a product portfolio with revenues of c. $1 billion. I won a Customer Focus award for my work on product development within the aviation sector. I curated annual internal conferences attended by 100 staff to raise awareness of UX methods and built a community of product design enthusiasts.

In 2018, I founded my own business Creative Product Consulting, working on diverse projects from cryptocurrency to government. I wanted to help others develop their careers and always had an interest in education, so I took on a role teaching at Flatiron School bootcamp as a Lead Instructor in UX/UI design. During the pandemic, this went from an in-person course to being taught online very fast!

I led the Product Research team at Workhuman from 2020 - 2025, working remotely. During this time I studied for and completed an Executive MBA at Quantic School of Business & Technology to further my management and business skills.

My most recent experience is the role of Product Manager and Team Rep with Collabsprint, creating and shipping an AI driven product in 8 weeks.
